In Memory of Fall

I can't decide if I even like this picture. It's strange to me. Therefore I guess it works for me. I thought that I'd say farewell to fall with this one. It was short, and I never got a chance to take pictures of the beautiful fall leaves we get here. The wind took them all away all too soon. Brown mushy ground leaves just aren't the same as fire crisp sky leaves. - Not sure how I enjoy the snow. I think I enjoy it 100 miles away, or in a cone the best.

I am looking forward to a white Christmas and making a snowman in my front yard. I'm not looking forward to a white Superbowl and Christmas without my family. But my snowman will be Awesome! I built a 4 ball man named Leroy long ago, he lived through most of spring. I think I will build a massive fort off my back porch. So the snow better be some descent packing snow, as they call it I believe. I will snow bomb any enemy that emerges from the house or trespasses. Or I will just drag Mike out of the house to attack him in cold wet fluffiness. I might have to organize a snowball war. Now that would be great. Little bit of food coloring, water balloon launcher and I think I'm set. The problem with my plans is that it will probably be cold for a very long time before my supplies arrive, being the packing snow. I was able to throw a Slush/ice ball last week. But that was scraped off a car.

- Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I hope you're full of food and get to watch Lots of Football! This is a Cowboys day! I remember having Thanksgiving diner at my grandparents watching the Dallas game. It's just not Thanksgiving if you don't eat during half time and watch the game. What else could I be thankful for, lots of food and football :-)... Plenty I know, but it makes for a nice day.

Winter 05

It's official straight from the sky, it's winter. The first snow fall of the year was last night and is still falling. I'm just glad I don't live in the south towns where they got 18", I'm happy with a thin blanket where the grass is still green.

Playing in the falls

This weekend I went to Letchworth State Park. A nice day of beauty, exploring, and relaxing. This rainbow played in the mist from one of the waterfalls, thanks to the position of the sun. It constantly moved and you could only see it at certain angles. I like the second picture better but had to post the other one too. I wanted to post a relaxing image today, so I did.

On a happy note - Dallas Won again last night! I hear it was an awesome ending and I was in bed sleeping! What can I say some of us work, and live in the east. I defiantly miss Monday Night Football starting at 6. Not 9. It's just not right.

Hide and Seek

One of the best games growing up. Hide for the seeking, Seek for
the hiding. Not very much fun when you're the hider and the seeker.
I wouldn't suggest you play unless you're playing with someone other
than yourself. It takes longer to find yourself than it does another. Some never win.
