Co-workers

Well here's my co-workers Maxi the tiger looking one and Maggie the black fatty. Maggie needs to go on a diet. And Maxi could use some weight. I took this pic and the bottom one with the worst possible digital camera. Top was takin' in our make-ready room where we get the exhibits cleaned and ready, along with storage. Bottom - during winter Maggie jumped on the table under a heater, so I put that chair there so that she would go there under another heater instead of on the table. Maxi likes the bottom part so I put a cushion there for him. They make good company when your working alone.

Work/Job/Career?

Work - I work at an exhibit house designing, building, repairing trade show booths. I got the job through word of mouth when my boss was at a bar complaining that she just lost her graphic artist. My first interview was interesting I must say. I had no idea what the job was for! I've never heard of this industry due to lack of tradeshow's in my background. In the middle of the interview Maxi, came to play. Cats, at an office was a surprise but I love their company and endless entertainment. It's a small company which means little business but always work somewhere. I'm currently working on the website which one day will be up.

Photo - The top photo is of our showroom. I set up most of it while my boss was enjoying her vacation in Florida while I was still thawing from the snow. The top picture is with only the lights on the booths/displays lit. The upper left - I apologize for the blown out white, it's just the way the light is. I will have to try and retake the pictures where that light isn't so white. Which is why there's a second picture - the bottom pic are with just the lights in the room on. The booth on the right that you can't see that much I set up. The black metal above it (truss) I also set up. Which was very tricky considering the weight, height, and balancing act. But I was stubborn regardless of my size and I only dropped it once and it wasn't caught on the surveillance camera. I also put up the truss on the far left side but it wasn't nearly as difficult. The Voss banner hanging I designed for a booth back in October. Along with 2 other matching ones. Nothing too special, just their logo and a slogan.

Since I like the truss so much here's what it looks like from a better angle. You can also see the set up of the booth better. This was the booth that I had to reconfigure with only so many options for the show back in October.

That concludes the showroom pretty much. That is the most entertaining here. The rest is half warehouse and half office. Maybe tomorrow I will post more on my co-workers. Being Maxi and Maggie.

I will update whenever anything comes up. I am open to comments and requests. I shall attempt to update at least weekly hopefully 2-3 times a week. Minus my vacations, since I leave for Cali in a few days!!!

Stayin' Alive...

In my attempt to keep this alive: I took this in Colorado, I made it a bit brighter and a little bluer but not that much. I think I also had to use a family members camera and my memory card due to the lack of juice in my batteries.

It's hot. I do not have air conditioning in my car. And at what point do you decide that you've spent enough money fixing your car, since you've spent more money fixing it than you paid for the junkie?

Oh and...I'll be in good old home California in a week

A New

Okay so I'm trying this thing out again. Hopefully I'll get in more than 2 posts before I bomb. Although this time I want photos. I like pretty pictures. And sometimes a little bibble babble to go with it. Some images I will play with like this one, because it's just fun. All of them I will have pushed the button on the camera though.
I shall try and post more what's going on when in fact stuff goes on. If spell check does not work that day I will tell you now I take no responsibility in that. I will look up some words but not all. I have enough responsibility in my life for now, maybe one day I'll tackle that one too. But not today. I have a softball game.
Strawberry - no I did not put that apple there nor did anyone I know. At the horse stables we came across a pony named Strawberry with that apple there. We thought it was comical so I pushed the button on the camera. Both photos I took in Colorado, Estes Park, for a family reunion. That's all for now...Until a year from now...or will it...
